Taylor Roocke begin her dance training at the age of 5, studying jazz,tap, ballet and hip hop.

 

As her love for dance grew she studied and trained in multiple dance syllabus’s including, CSTD, Jazz Addict, Tapatak, Glen Wood and Urban Ignition.

 

She was accepted into the selective entry program at Charles Campbell College where she studied Stage 1 and Stage 2 SACE Dance, Drama and Music.

 

Having fallen in love with performing, Taylor has been involved in multiple stage performances and productions.  She recognizes the importance of continuing to develop her own dance knowledge and training, and has attended multiple dance conventions and workshops, (even with Abby Lee Miller), with the aim of passing on her skills to her current and future students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the age of just 10 Taylor became an assistant teacher and by age 15 was assisting and providing choreography to two dance studios in Adelaide.  She is currently attending  university  of South Australia studying Social Work.

 

“I personally love 'expressing yourself' on stage through dance.  I love watching the thrill and excitement on my students’ faces as they learn and perform.   My goal is that every student can reach their potential and grow in confidence."

Miss Beth is Divine Performing Arts Academy's very main instructor. She teaches our ballet classes, our Rising Stars and other classes.  
Beth  began her dancing journey at the age of 4 and like every little girl absolutely fell in love with the idea of dance. By 10, she was dancing 6 days a week which included jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, hip hop classes whilst she also was competing in numerous solo, duo and troupe eisteddfods, studying the CSTD Theatrical syllabus and became a tinytot demonstrator. At the age of 13 she became an Assistant Teacher and found teaching to be her absolute passion. Since then, now at 19 she is a Senior Teacher who has her Teacher’s Certificate in the Theatrical CSTD syllabus. She now teaches a range of age groups from under 5’s to open age groups in the style of jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary and ballet.


Beth completed her high school education at Charles Campbell College in the Selective Entry Performing Arts Program completing State 1 & 2 Dance Studies. It was at Charles Campbell that Beth choreographed two major school production being given the title of Principal Choreographer for Footloose & The Wizard of Oz.

Divine Performing Arts Academy’s teachers believe that dance is a way to learn self expression whilst developing gross motor skills and co-ordination, in a fun, caring and nurturing professional manner.

 

Our teachers love to dance, it is evident through their teaching manner and smiling faces every week.

 

 

 

She also produced many works for the Fringe Festival, Year 12 Dance Moderations and numerous Dance Nights. She was an extremely active and appreciated member of the Charles Campbell Performing Arts community. Her aim for every student is to be confident in their abilities and be willing to further their knowledge. “I love watching a student create a goal and then achieve it, it brings me nothing less than happiness and love.” She feels extremely blessed to now be a part of the Divine Performing Arts Academy family and can’t wait to see what the year brings!
